This video explains the basics of a sales process for an SEO agency. It's important to define your sales process so that you know where each deal stands. You can adjust these steps depending on your business, but a typical sales process consists of these 5 steps:
1. Introduction (when the prospect finds out about you - could be inbound via your website, or outbound via cold call, cold email, LinkedIn outreach, etc).
2. Qualify (ask prospects questions to determine if s/he needs your service, and if you can actually help their business.
3. Present service (demonstrate your services - this could be a case study, strategy session, demo of your software, or something else. After this step, your prospect should have a near-complete understanding of your solution.
4. Present proposal (this is when you present a written contract for your prospect to sign. This should outline your agreement, including terms, deliverables, pricing, etc).
5. Close (when your prospect signs the deal).
