My first Boss Guide on Runescape.

This guide will focus less on damage rotations and more on the Long Range Strategy and Mechanics. This is a post combat update guide.
With the Long Range Strategy, it makes it easier for me to keep track of Zemouregal and I have broken down this attack pattern.

One of the most chaotic bosses out there, and I am really happy with how it turned out. I even learned something while making my own guide.

🪽 Zemouregal's Attack Pattern🪽
Starting in Phase 3, usually from my experience when he has at least 2 residual souls(sometimes he waits until he has 3 residual souls depending on how fast you enter Phase 3), he either starts with Blood Siphon or Finger of Death.

If he starts with Blood Siphon, a Finger of Death is coming right after a few auto attacks. If he starts with Finger of Death first, then he follow up with Blood Siphon after a few auto attacks.. Then he will follow up with Death Skulls and then finally, Volley of Souls. Then he just auto attacks until he has at least 2 residual souls to either start his pattern with Finger of Death or Blood Siphon.

So in short form:
When he has at least 2 residual souls:
Blood Siphon -) Finger of Death -) Death Skulls -) Volley of Souls
or
Finger of Death -) Blood Siphon -) Death Skulls -) Volley of Souls

Auto attacks until he has at least 2 residual souls again.

The most threatening ability is Finger of Death and Volley Souls for rangers. As long as you stand far away from Zemouregal, death skull should not be much of an issue. Blood Siphon has time to predict.

Phase 2 to Phase 3 is 756k HP. Not 656k HP :(
