Iconic mayors of major cities including the Maynard Jackson (Atlanta), Coleman Young (Detroit) and Tom Bradley (Los Angeles) made history and changed the narrative of 20th century Black male leadership. We sit down with the 52nd Mayor of Baltimore, 38-year-old Brandon Scott, to talk about the opportunities and challenges—including the pandemic fallout, crime and law enforcement, and housing—of living up to that legacy as a 21st century mayor.
