The 5 pm-5 minute gesture as appealed by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi to appreciate the efforts of people such as medical
practitioners and police, among others, resonated across the country. People
came out in their balconies and rooftops with utensils, conch shells,
musical instruments and much more, extending support to the essential
service providers braving it out to stop the spread of Coronavirus in India.
