Filmed on 11/08/2019. With Transpennine Express Nova fleet almost completed their testing to enter service, the new era is amongst us.
Scarborough has seen a lot of class 68's on test/driver training runs between Scarborough and York in preparation for Nova 3 diagrams. But for the second time, a Transpennine Express class 802 makes an appearance on test runs. A rare sight for Scarborough for the Nova 1 to be seen on test.
It is seen working 5T53 to York as it works 2nd of 3 trips to Scarborough and York before it heads to its Hitachi depot at Scarborough this evening.
