Sittin' In The Sun - Frankie Laine (Columbia Records) 1953, 78 rpm! A Direct Recording!

This here is the flip-side of the hit song "Hey Joe". My grandparents owned this on 78 and it's one of my first memories when Grandpa fixed up the old Westinghouse radio/record player (by then moved to the basement, the "good" stereo was upstairs now!).. well he put this one on and turned up the volume and I fell in love right then and there with "old music", records and record players.. And 78 records! Yes, it's a pop song, complete with trumpets and all that "stiffness" that rock and roll provided the cure for, but it's awesome anyway! Hope you enjoy it, I'll post "Hey Joe" sometime soon too!
