Our hens came down with fowl pox. We had never experienced this before with our flocks in California. Here in Georgia, the chances are higher since one way thet get it is from mosquitoes. I will be planting natural insect repelling plants around the coop and run to help with this.
We did a few things to help them recover once we learned they had dry fowl pox.
1. Disinfected their coop, water and food containers & nesting boxes.
2. Topically treated each pox marking.
3. Added organic apple cider vinegar to their water. Added vitamins and probiotics to their food to boost immune systems.
While researching how to help our hens, I found this helpful link:

We bought our "Rooster Booster- Poultry Wound Spray" from Tractor Supply.

I've seen it on Amazon as well.
I hope this video helps anyone trying to help their birds too. God bless!
