This is the first of a 3 lecture series on imaging biomarker development for prostate cancer.
In this lecture, I will
1. illustrate with examples and a quiz, the types of imaging biomarkers that are used for prostate cancer care, so that
2. you get to know how to distinguish imaging BM that are only diagnostic, from those with prognostic and predictive properties, so that
3. you can realise that predictive and prognostic BM do address different challenges related to the heterogeneous outcomes of prostate cancer patients.
