Polaris has added yet another RZR to their lineup with the Turbo S Velocity. The question is, how does it compare to the Turbo S, and is it worth considering with the lower price tag but same horsepower?

Polaris has released yet another RZR option to its lineup. Strategically, a model that now allows Polaris to claim the title as having the cheapest 72" long travel machine on the market. So how cheap exactly? Alright, not that cheap...
Polaris recently announced the release of its new Polaris RZR Turbo S Velocity, which is considered a less expensive version of the Turbo S. Before you go getting too excited, just know that is considered the second "baddest" RZR on the market, so less expensive does not mean cheap! What it does mean is there is now another option for someone looking to buy one sweet, fast, awesome, sexy, amazing machine. So what does the new Turbo S Velocity cost? It comes in with a starting price tag of $25,399. I know, still pretty expensive. But hey, on a lighter note you are still getting the same 168 hp as you would on the standard Turbo S but with a $2,600 smaller price tag.
So what exactly is different with that smaller price tag? Well a few things, but 2 (what we consider) big things. First off, this new RZR Velocity does not have Dynamix. If you do not know what Dynamix is in short, is as Polaris's suspension system that does hundreds of calculations a second to automatically adjust the suspension on the fly for the best possible outcome. In place of Dynamix, Polaris has added Walker Evans 2.5 shocks in the front, and 3.0 shocks in the rear. The second big change for the Turbo S Velocity is the lack of ride command. With the lack of ride command comes with the loss of the nice in-dash screen, GPS navigation, camera, and pretty much everything else that comes along with having the Ride Command screen built in.
Aside from these two big things come a few small changes as well. For example, the Velocity is missing the roof, and item included in the standard Turbo S. The Velocity also lost the Sparko steering wheel and beautiful front and rear LED accent lights included in the standard Turbo S. In their place comes a standard Polaris RZR steering wheel and well...just not led accent lights.
If you don't mind missing out on these few items, the Velocity may be an option to consider (if you are looking to spend upwards of $25,000 on a side by side). So that leaves you with one question to consider. Are you willing to save $2,600 and skip out on Dynamix and Ride command?
I would love to hear the answer to this question below. What are your thoughts? Is this something you would consider?
