Our second Inspire Session took place on 3 May where we discussed what radical self-care means and how we have to take care of ourselves first, before attempting to take care of others. Engaging in a self-care routine has been clinically proven to reduce or eliminate anxiety and depression, reduce stress, improve concentration, minimize frustration and anger, increase happiness, and much more.
Featuring Occupational Therapist Aicha Djalo-Balde, we explore our attitudes to self care; the barriers to engaging in the practice of wellbeing; and how we can develop our own self-care routine.
