In this episode I replaced a themostat on my 530xd as it had been overtightened quite a bit in the past which developed into coolant leaks due to bent plastic housing. Tightening torques are important, specially when working with soft materials like alu alloy and plastic parts!

Working time was around an hour, and it could be done without a lift (but with quite a lot of a mess though).
