Today's Christmas eve message is Jesus Christ, Hope on the Horizon. The Catholic Church around the world begins to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the feast of the nativity. This evening is pregnant with hope. On the horizon we anticipate the dawning of a new day. The birth of Jesus marks a new beginning and the dawning of our hope: forgiveness of sins, the offer of salvation ... Jesus' birth gives our life a whole new dimension.
