Following the election, Republicans will control the Senate with a 53 to 47 majority, but one question remains -- who will become the new Senate majority leader?
Outgoing leader Mitch McConnell will remain in Congress but will step aside as the longest serving party leader in history.
Three candidates are vying to replace him -- Senate Majority Whip John Thune of South Dakota, former Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn of Texas and Florida's Rick Scott.
It's unknown if President -elect Donald Trump will endorse any of the three candidates.
Republicans are set to vote by a secret ballot on Nov. 13.
