Battery to Inverter Connections:
A. Ensure battery breaker is in the OFF position.
B. Connect Battery P+ to Inverter battery +
C. Connect Battery P- to Inverter battery -
D. Connect Battery CAN port to Inverter BMS485/CAN port. Use a standard Ethernet Cable.

Battery Start Procedure:
A. Ensure the Battery BMS is switched off. If not the press the reset button for about 3 seconds until the LEDs start to blink. Then wait for 5 seconds for the BMS to shut down
B. Switch on the main Battery breaker and the Inverter Battery DC breaker (if available)
C. Switch on the Battery BMS by pressing the reset switch for 3 seconds. This allows activation of the Pre-Charge function.

Deye Inverter:
A. Click on the Inverter Settings Button on the top-right of the screen.
B. Go to 'Battery Settings' and select 'Lithium' battery mode. Then click on the check button (bottom right) to save the setting.
C. Click on the down arrow twice (page 3) and set the Lithium mode to 00

Confirm communication between BSLBatt Battery and Deye Hybrid Inverter:
A. On the Inverter Home screen, click on the battery icon (Bottom left). Battery state settings should display including SOC, Voltage, Current, Power and Temperature.
B. On the Bottom right there should be a 'Li-BMS' icon. Click on this and more battery state values should display. These are read from the battery BMS and confirm that the BSLBatt Battery is communicating with your Deye Hybrid Inverter.
