Dry and rather chilly with some clear spells to start the day, but dense fog patches across southern areas. Cloud and outbreaks of rain spreading into western areas through the morning, heavy at times across western Scotland and Northern Ireland, along with strengthening winds. A yellow warning in place for strong winds across the far northwest of Scotland from mid morning.
