Founded in 1919, Italian jewellery house Buccellati has always found inspiration in the art world. As the family firm celebrates its centenary, we sat down with Maria Cristina Buccellati, granddaughter of company founder Mario Buccellati, to talk about tradition, creativity and craftsmanship. Sotheby’s will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Buccellati with an auction of 26 jewels and accessories, along with an outstanding exhibition of 17 pieces tracing the fascinating history of the celebrated brand.
