Before entering politics, she worked with WWF until 2012, championing efforts for sustainable wildlife conservation. In 2013, she joined Pakistan’s political landscape with Marriyum Nawaz as a Member of the National Assembly and has since served in various key roles, including as Information Minister.

In this candid conversation, Marriyum sheds light on her personal connections within PML-N, her involvement in unique wildlife search operations, and her encounters with rare species like bears and lions recovered from illegal captivity in private properties. She shares the incredible story behind establishing Pakistan’s first dedicated wildlife hospital, a major step forward for animal welfare in the country.
