Be careful when applying for jobs online on Indeed, LinkedIn or whatever job board. There are many ways to tell if a job is a scam. Do not give any personal information like social securities, birthdays, address and full name right away. You should always feel comfortable when offered a job. Ask for legal documents, company information and additional clarifying questions to be sure. In this experience, I should have research before applying and I'm lucky I bailed out quickly before things escalated. Take your time finding a good job because let's be real you will be spending most of your day there.
