So on this video I finally test the new 10980XE, which I received as partially lapped and I already showcased as an example result on my community page. After finetuning it a bit more it looks somewhat alright, definitely better to my eye than the 5.85GHz 9980XE.
On the video I go through my normal binning procedure for these X299 CPUs for the core and the mesh, and see how high they do. When it comes to the Core, the max ended up being 5GHz with 1.29 Vcore, and Input didn't have much impact on stability and vcore requirement for this clock speed. Mesh ended up maxing at around 3.4GHz. 3.4 was fully stable in Geekbench3 and Cinebench R15, but 3.5 failed at the end of Geekbench3 with 1.35v Mesh voltage.
