Farmers collect guava on their boat from guava orchard at Bhimruli village in Jhalakathi district, one of the top guava producing regions in the country.

According to the Department of Agricultural Extension, guava cultivation has spread across 3,345 hectares of land in Barishal, Jhalakathi and Pirojpur districts, with an annual production of 31,747 tonnes.
