✅️ Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) is a Centrally Sponsored DBT scheme with the cash incentive of ₹ 5000/- (in three instalments) being provided directly in the bank/post office account of Pregnant Women and Lactating Mothers.

✅️ Cash benefits that are provided under the scheme are provided in three instalments of Rs.1,000, Rs.2,000, and Rs.2,000, respectively. However, for each instalment, the conditions that are required to be met are different and the documents that must be submitted may vary.

➡️ First Instalment - Rs.1,000

Conditions -

Along with the mandatory documents, the mother must register her pregnancy in the MCP within 150 days from the LMP.

Documents Required -

1️⃣Form 1A that is completely filled.
2️⃣Photocopy of identity proof
3️⃣Passbook of the bank account
4️⃣MCP Card copy

➡️ Second Instalment - Rs.2,000

Conditions -

A minimum of one Ante Natal Check Up must be done.
The amount can be claimed 180 days after pregnancy.

Documents Required -

1️⃣A completely filled Form 1B
2️⃣Photocopy of the MCP card

➡️ Third Instalment - Rs.2,000

Conditions -

Child birth must be registered.
The first cycle of Hepatitis B, Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Tetanus (DPT), Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV), and Bacille Calmette Guerin (BCG) immunisations must be given to the first child.
Aadhaar must be submitted for individuals living in all states except for Meghalaya, Assam, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Documents Required -

1️⃣Completely filled Form 1C must be submitted.
2️⃣Photocopy of birth registration certificate of the child must be provided.
3️⃣Photocopy of Aadhaar card.
4️⃣Photocopy of MCP card.
