Onion Chicken Roast Recipe

Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg.
For marination
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1-1/2 tbsp.
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp.
Lemon juice – 1 tsp.
Salt to taste.
Marinate the chicken and keep it aside.
For special masala
Cardamom – 5 no.
Cloves – 4 no.
Pepper – 10 no.
Garlic – 4 cloves.
Cinnamon – 3 no.
Ginger – One small piece.
Kasmiri chilli powder – 1/2 tsp.
Chilli powder – 1 tsp.
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp.
Wet grind the masala mix.
Oil
Onion – 4 nos, sliced.
Tomato – 3 nos, cut into small pieces.
Green chilli – 2 no sliced.
Curry leaves and coriander leaves.
Preparation:
Fry the onion and keep it aside.
In the same pan, heat up the masala and add oil if needed. Sauté well until the raw smell fades away. Add tomato and green chilli, mix it well. You can break the tomato using the spoon. Add marinated chicken and fried onion in to the masala. No need to add water. Close it with a lid and cook for 20 minutes. Mix in the meantime.
Our onion chicken roast is ready. Garnish it with curry leaves and coriander leaves. Best combination is rice or porota. Please try the recipe and give us the feedback.
