Learn Arabic _ Vowels in Arabic: The Long Vowels, Alif, Waw and Yaa.In this lesson I will show you the long vowels and their sound.
First lets remember the short vowel, so what are they and what is the sound of each one? We have in Arabic Fathah, Dammah, and Kasrah.
The sound of Fathah is /A/, the sound of Dammah is /U/, the sound of Kasrah is /i/. Long Vowels are not symbols they are letters. Fathah is associated with alif ,dammah is associated with waw and kasrah is associated with Yaa.
Learn to write and pronounce the three long vowels, as well as how to distinguish a long vowel from a consonant. I explain long vowels in a very simple and direct way
