In this clip, Ernest Lee Thomas detailed his interacitons with Bill Cosby, the first being on the set of Cosby's variety show "Cos," which was failing in the ratings at the time. Ernest explained that he and his "What's Happening!!" co-stars Fred Barry and Haywood Nelson were invited to be on Cosby's show to increase the ratings, and they were so excited when they saw him on the set. However, Ernest reveals that they were crushed when Cosby walked right past them without acknowledging them, showing his arrogance. Despite their unfortunate interaction, Ernest revealed that he was heartbroken when Cosby was sentenced to prison.
