Big Sean GOES at Kendrick Lamar on DJ Khaled's On Everything'
Did Big Sean Respond To Kendrick Lamar On DJ Khaled’s “On Everything”? Big Sean later adds a JAY-Z/Nas battle reference, “Roc-A-Fella chain, but you can still get Ethered.”
The issues between Kendrick and Sean apparently began with “Control (HOF)” in 2013.
“Control” was Big Sean’s record, but Kendrick Lamar’s verse got all the attention because he challenged nearly every relevant rapper at the time.
While the TDE star was seen by many as the highlight of the track, Sean insisted he did not get murdered on his own song.
“How long ago was that? What year was that? And I still don’t feel like I got washed, anyway,” he told The Breakfast Club in February.
Prior to sitting down with the Power 105.1 radio show, Sean appeared to throw shots at Kendrick on “Me, Myself, and I (Freestyle)” and “No More Interviews.”
Many listeners felt Kendrick responded with “The Heart Part 4” and “HUMBLE” as well as the remix to Future’s “Mask Off.”
So it’s not surprising DJ Khaled’s “On Everything” could be the latest round in the Big Sean vs Kendrick Lamar bar bout.
Ironically, both emcees appeared on Khaled’s “Holy Key” from 2016’s Major Key.
