It seems like having the microphones closer to the guitar makes it easier for the script's pitch detection, resulting in less jarring drones. Saying that, this was my second attempt - the first one had a really ear-splitting tone generated halfway through, spoiling it somewhat. I love that this script can turn on you in an instant - makes improvising rather nerve-wracking.
