馬來西亞電影《富都青年》的主演吳慷仁與陳澤耀，雙雙入圍本屆亞洲電影大獎，分別獲提名最佳男主角與最佳男配角。電影通過一對相依度日的兄弟，描繪了馬來西亞吉隆坡的富都老社區，一群沒有公民身分的外籍移工生存在社會邊緣的故事。
WU Kang-Ren and Jack TAN, from the Malaysian film "Abang Adik" receive nominations for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor respectively of the 17th the Asian Film Awards. Through the story if a pair of undocumented orphans, the film depicts a group of foreign migrant workers without citizenship living on the fringes inside the old community Pudu in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
