In our Houston branch, our employees are hard at work fabricating polyester round slings!
Our team loads the polyester load yarn onto spools and threads it through the polyester round sling jacket. The load yarn is pulled through continuously to create multiple loops. The more wraps there are, the stronger the sling is.
We pay great attention to detail when crafting our poly-round slings. Each type of sling has a precise number of load yarns, which are counted twice — both manually and digitally — to guarantee top quality.
Polyester round slings are very flexible and user-friendly. The polyester jacket protects the load yarn, which is the actual load-bearing material. Since the load-bearing material has an extra layer of protection, it increases its life by protecting the load yards from damaging UV rays and abrasion.
You may notice that these slings come in many different colors, and that's for a reason.
Did you know that polyester round slings are the only slings we fabricate that are color-coded? The color-coding system is based on load capacity. These are blue slings, which have a vertical Working Load Limit (WLL) of 21,200 pounds. Of course, you should always check your sling's tag before the lift just to make sure the rating is what you think it is and everything is on the up and up.
