Douglas Synder Custom Built Vintage Roller Skates Lytle Hyde Powell Bones 57mm Black

I used to roller skate at Wisconsin Skate University in the late 70s and recognized the
quality and worksmanship in these old skates.
Boots tag says Betty Lytle Styled by Hyde.
Measures 12 inches fron Heel bottom to toe. (think Mens Size 8)
Insole from toe tip to heel 11 3/8ths inches.
Toung seam is splitting along canvas center ribbon, probably could be repaired by a good cobbler.
Left boot backstay has slight 1/2 an inch stiches tear out area.
Comes with the original laces taken out for photos and to let the leather boots breathe.
Leather is supple not cracking.
Lace hooks have some rust patina on them, 2 of the 24 lace hooks are slightly bent,
The plates and trucks plate bar has DOUGLAS SNYDER CUSTOM BUILT SKATES on it.
Both front trucks have Number 9 1810 stamped on them.
May have been before DOUGLAS SNYDER applied for patents?
Toe stops are grey and have ELI FACKLER PATENT APPLIED FOR CLINTON-MICH printed on them.
Wheels spin very nicely and have POWELL USA V-IV BONES 57mm-97A white lettering on them,
almost all 8 wheels this lettering is in great condition.
Please notice In the last photo it shows that tongues have damage.
