Power Plant Bass fishing can be an epic time! It's March 2017 and the pre-spawn pattern is on. Big Bass are starting to move up on to the banks and into the shallow pockets ready to spawn. We are on a power plant lake in Kansas where we are using pre-spawn techniques such as finding pockets that warm up quickly and shallow, flat, windy points where big bass may move up as they begin their journey to the banks. We caught fish on square-bill crankbaits, rat-l-traps, jigs, and DT-6 Crankbaits. We also lucked into a nice Wiper or Hybrid Striped Bass while fishing open water! What an awesome day on the water! All fish were released as usual!
