Shaykh Sulayman al-Ruhayli (حفظه الله)
Shaykh Sulayman ibn Salimullah al-Ruhayli, may Allah preserve him, is a prominent scholar of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah, well-known for his dedication to the Salafi manhaj and his vast knowledge in fiqh, 'aqeedah, and the methodology of the Salaf-us-Salih (the righteous predecessors). He is recognized for his clarity in teaching and his strong emphasis on adhering to the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم).
Shaykh al-Ruhayli studied under many notable scholars, including the likes of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen (رحمه الله) and Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abbad (حفظه الله), and was known for his diligence in acquiring knowledge from the people of knowledge who followed the path of the Salaf. His comprehensive understanding of fiqh, particularly in the Hanbali school, and his expertise in 'aqeedah, have made him one of the leading scholars of our time.
Shaykh Sulayman is currently a professor at the Islamic University of Madinah, where he teaches advanced students of knowledge, and he is also a khateeb (preacher) at the Prophet's Masjid (Masjid al-Nabawi), where he regularly delivers sermons (khutbahs) calling people to the pure worship of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) and adherence to the Sunnah.
Known for his wisdom and balanced approach, Shaykh al-Ruhayli is a trusted voice in addressing contemporary issues with the methodology of the Salaf, always referring back to the authentic sources of the Qur'an and Sunnah. His lectures and writings are followed by many around the world who seek to purify their faith and follow the straight path of Tawheed.
