Thoracic flexion is a necessary spinal range for full range pushing. It allows our scapular muscles to reach their pushing end ranges. It is also useful for improving your exhalation ability.
Depending on which region is stuck for you (upper/lower), it will require different interventions. This is more biased to mid to lower thoracic flexion. For the very upper thoracic flexion you will need to visit some of our neck strengthening videos as the longus colli. To get the very last mid to upper of thoracic flexion you will need to focus on exhalation and pushing away!
