This new @dewalttv DCF891 Mid-Torque Impact Wrench looks just like the older DCF894. However, once you pull the trigger, you realized it's been souped up substantially. This is an XR 20V Max tool, so you get the brushless motor driven by the 20-volt MAX batteries. There are 3 different power modes that deliver up to 2,000 RPM and 3,000 IPM (Impacts Per Minute) through the variable speed trigger. A 4th mode is called Precision Wrench mode which stops the tool for a brief second once the fastener is snug, and it slows the DCF891 once it senses the fastener is loose. DeWalt includes a 3-year warranty with this new Mid-Range impact wrench and the bare tool will cost about $250.
