0:03 Required Tools and Supplies
0:09 STEP 1: Using a 60 grit sandpaper — Sand down the area you will be staining.
0:20 STEP 2: Using a damp cloth, lightly wipe the wood, cleaning any leftover sanding debris.
0:34 STEP 3: Brush one coat of White Basecoat in the direction of the woodgrain working it into the wood. NO WIPING!
0:53 STEP 4: Let it Dry for a minimum of 24 hours.
0:56 STEP 5: Lightly sand the wood or area using 280 medium grit sandpaper.
1:09 STEP 6: Using a cotton of microfiber cloth, apply stain in a circular motion and wipe off with in direction of grain.
1:35 STEP 7: Important, let stain glaze dry 48 hours before applying clear coat.
1:43 STEP 8: Apply 3 coats clear water-based varnish. Sand with 800 or 100 grit sanding pads after 2nd coat.
