Philippine Navy Guided Missile Frigate Update

Philippine Navy Guided-Missile Frigate BRP Jose Rizal (FF150)
is on its way to the Philippines.

BRP Jose Rizal (FF150) departed South Korea shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industry (HHI) and finally set sail for the Philippines yesterday May 18, 2020.

The frigate will arrive in Subic Bay on May 23, 2020 where it will udergo for technical inspection and acceptance, said Navy Chief Vice Admiral Giovanni Carlo Bacardo in a radio interview.

BRP Jose Rizal was supposed to be delivered in late April but it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Its sister ship, BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151), is set for delivery before yearend.

Sana mas dumami pa lalo ang mga kagamitang pandepensa ng Pilipinas. Nakakaproud lang dahil madadagdagan na namn ang asset ng ating sandatahan. Mabuhay!
