THE JACKIE FACTORY's twenty-second annual NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES - the largest and most beloved STEVIE NICKS fan event in the world - returned to New York City's HIGHLINE BALLROOM on May 11. NOTS 22: DREAMS UNWIND was inspired by the instantly iconic MOONLIGHT (A VAMPIRE'S DREAM) from the 2011 STEVIE release IN YOUR DREAMS (and its campy, fanged, owl-heavy video.) The 2012 edition also paid homage to Stevie's many dream-laced songs and references, most famously the FLEETWOOD MAC opus DREAMS, and the Stevie mantra "Dreams Unwind", borrowed from RHIANNON.

This marathon edition, attended by nearly 1200 fans, featured nearly 100 performers in 25 show segments. Highlights included THE HO-HOs (CATHY CERVENKA and JILL PANGALLO), THE CRYSTAL ARK, POISON EVE and DARLINDA JUST DARLINDA, JAZMEN FLOWERS (MISSISSIPPI), AMBER MARTIN, VANGELINE THEATER with contortionist JONATHAN NOSAN, CHARLENE CORAN (COLORADO), MACHINE DAZZLE and DARRELL THORNE of THE PIXIE HARLOTS, THE RACHEL KLEIN THEATER, HEATHER LITTEER, EN SUBTITLES and LADY ZOMBIE. ENCHANTRESSES OF CEREMONY included show founder CHI CHI VALENTI and Broadway/New Orleans choreographer CHAD LUKE SCHIRO created the DREAMS UNWIND opening ballet.

NIGHT OF A THOUSAND STEVIES is the biggest and best-loved STEVIE NICKS fan event in the world, one of those great New York City spectacles that sparks travel from all around the globe. Born in 1991 at the tiny performance venue MOTHER, "The Night" is now in its 22nd year, even inspiring the 2001 film GYPSY 83. Neither a contest nor a karaoke show, NOTS is the Stevie celebration ne plus ultra - a riot of shawls, lace, baby's breath, twirling, tambourines and great performance. It ends with the iconic "Battle of a Thousand Stevies", where all of the shows performers and Stevie-adorned guests take to the stage in an Enchanted group rendition of "Edge of Seventeen".
