In 2006, the B7 RS4 changed expectations of fast Audis forever. Gone was the inert, dim-witted handling of before, replaced with this lithe, agile, rewarding driver's car. That the RS4 also came with a gorgeous 8,000rpm V8, a manual gearbox and suave good looks assured it icon status almost from the get-go.
