Here is some practical advice on how to profit from offering snow removal.

▶Only offer commercial snow removal

▶Condense your service area

▶Have a minimum charge or 'trip charge'

▶Use a time and material pricing scheme

▶Have at least a handful of accounts on a monthly payment plan regardless of the amount of snow received

▶Have the right equipment

▶Don't try to handle too many properties!

▶Always be ready to snap into action

▶Buy your salt in bulk

As I stated several times in the video, I really do hate snow removal! It is terrible in my opinion. After repairs to your trucks, little money is left as profit.

I highly recommend using the off-season as a time to work on the systems of your business and prepare for the upcoming season.
