We will talk about problems related to weight loss, acidity, heart health, lung health, cancer prevention, and their quick fixes.
1)Weight Loss
-Add 1 inch of grated ginger to your tea. As it contains compounds like gingerol and shogaol which promote thermogenesis, helping boost metabolism. It also has appetite-suppressing properties which can control cravings, thus reducing the overall calorie intake.
2)Acidity
-Add 1/2 tsp of fennel seeds to your tea. It contains compounds like anethole, which help reduce the production of stomach acid and soothe the lining of stomach. It stimulates digestive enzymes, preventing the buildup of excess acid in the stomach. Moreover, its natural alkaline properties help balance stomach pH levels, reducing heartburn and acid reflux.
3)Heart Health
-Add 1/2 tsp of arjuna bark powder or 1 small piece of the bark to your tea. It contains natural antioxidants like flavonoids, saponins, and tannins, which help strengthen the heart muscles and improve cardiac function. It lowers LDL, which is the bad cholestrol, and promotes HDL, which is the good cholestrol. It also reduces the inflammation in the blood vessels and relaxes them.
4)Lung Health
-Add 1/2 tsp of licorice powder or 1 small stick of licorice root to your tea. As it soothes the respiratory tract by forming a soothing layer over the mucous membranes. It expels mucus from the lungs and reduces inflammation in the respiratory tract.
