Nancy (2024) is a city in the North East of France with a population of 105,000. It is the capital of the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle. The metropolitan area of Nancy has 435,000 citizens. The centre of the city is beautifully built and decorated. The famous place Stanislas is a large square built between 1752 and 1755. It is a World Heritage Site. Some highlights of the city are the Place Stanislas, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Government Palace, the School of Architecture, the Nancy Cathedral and the River Marina.
