Usually MagnetCoil just slides the enemy to the row it is targeted at (as well as counting it as a flinching). However, if the middle row contains an ice panel, it will slide the enemy around back and forth as the ice panel's slip mechanic takes place. This IceCoil mechanic even ignore the enemy's FloatShoes for some reason. AquaBody enemies and their "No Slip" will not slide and just land on the ice panel.
The interesting part is that during the IceCoil slide, the enemy is considered perpetually sliding in motion. In this sliding state, the enemy (even with SuperArmor) cannot attack, move, or go into any status condition (even the flashing invisible state), the effect is similar to that from AirShoot, GrabBanish, and GrabRevenge. While in this state, the target can continuously be struck by attacks that gives the flashing state, as demonstrated by PowerWave and ParallelShell. Because the slide also moves the target around to another panel of the attack, additional damage stacks up. Other chips that don't change the middle ice panel can also be used at this time as long as the Coil is still active.
