In this video in english language I have first explained what Tinkathia system was. It compelled the farmers to grow indigo on 3/20th of their land. Gandhiji was persuaded to come to Champaran by Raj Kumar Shukla. Gandhiji waged Champaran Satyagraha which got the Tinkathia System abolished through the Champaran Agrarian Bill.
