A Makupa-based Traffic Police Officer controlling traffic at the Buxton junction in Mombasa yesterday lost his life after he was dragged by a 24-year-old motorist who refused to stop when he was flagged down. Mvita Sub-County Police Commander Maxwell Agoro in a press briefing today confirmed the incident. He said two Traffic Police Officers that were controlling traffic noticed an oncoming vehicle from the Coast General Referral Hospital direction being driven carelessly. He grabbed the officer and drove away with part of his body inside the motor vehicle for about 200 meters on reaching MM Shah hospital the officer was dropped down on the tarmac and hit his head on the tarmac together with the guard rails,’’ narrated the Sub-County Police Commander Maxwell Agoro. #KENYANewsMEDIA
