In this episode, Chelsea Tudhope and Meghan Mathieson speak with Honey Attridge, who shares the story of the birth of her daughter Sophie. The time she spent in the NICU and how Honey and her husband navigated both the physical and mental side of this journey.
Honey shares some advice to parents who may be going through the same thing as well as how the experience affected her, the way she parents because of it and how she has worked to overcome the trauma.
Honey now works as a Peer Support Worker in Maternal Mental health Services supporting women/birthing people and their families.
