EPISODE 3

On this trip we visited Boegoeberg to go camping high in the mountains with our brand new rooftop tent for the first time. Boegoeberg is close to Clanwilliam in the heart of the main Rooibos Tea producing area in South Africa.

Our experience is presented in four videos, with each having a distinct focus:

Ep1: The road to Boegoeberg, tour of the Rooibos Tea harvesting and processing on the farm and a visit to the beautiful Boegoeberg main campsite on the farm (with very welcome swim in the sublime swimming pool).

Ep2: Driving the demanding Boegoeberg 4x4 trail up the mountain to the Kliphuis campsite. Please fasten your seatbelt! This mountain road was hectic and had our hearts beating well above normal, but what a thrill.

Ep3: Setting up camp at Kliphuis campsite with our new Eezi-Awn Jazz rooftop tent and relaxing by drinking in the spectacular beauty of the surrounding area and enjoying the evening braai.

Ep4: Waking up the next morning at Kliphuis campsite to a delightful show of ever changing mist around us. We also take you with us on our exciting descent from Kliphuis on the Boegoeberg 4x4 trail.
