It's about time that we visited and made a video of our all time favorite Neapolitan-style pizza restaurant.
The pizzas at Franco Manca are absolutely delicious as they use a sourdough base which means the crust is genuinely edible (especially with a drizzle of their Garlic & Chilli Olive oils).

They bake the actual pizza in a wood fired oven which can reach temperatures of between 450 to 600 degrees centigrade which means the pizza incredibly takes literally around a minute to cook & has a gorgeous smoky flavour.
They have an uncomplicated menu & a daily specials menu & we chose the "Veg Special" which was topped with:
*Buffalo Farmed Lloyd Mozzarella
*Cherry Tomatoes
*Fresh Asparagus
*& Wild Rocket
*(although it does not come with a tomato sauce base we opted to have it as an extra).
Unlike other pizza chains the pizzas here are affordable with all their pizzas being priced well under £10.00
A special thank you to the team who welcomed us and graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into their kitchen to do the videoing.
Here we visited the original Brixton branch (& their Stratford Westfield branch). The Brixton branch is located at number 4 Market Row & was once upon a time the only branch............now there are 15 branches dotted around London.
(The Franco Manca pizza chain was founded by Giuseppe Mascoli and started with just one restaurant in Brixton Market in 2008).
