Sundance Film Festival alum and Co-Founder of indie SVOD Black & Sexy TV, Dennis Dortch, shares how he and his team turned a small production company into a vertically integrated digital media business. Black & Sexy TV is currently developing, producing, and distributing over 150 hours of original digital content throughout the world and partnering with premium programmers like HBO and distributing its content to networks like BET.
As visionary and co-founder of Black & Sexy TV, Dennis oversees all productions and serves as chief screenwriter, director, and showrunner. Dennis is a Sundance Film Festival Alum and Gotham Independent Film Awards “Breakthrough Director” nominee for his feature film debut, “A Good Day to be Black and Sexy.” Dennis created and co-created a number of hit shows such as: “The Couple” (HBO), “Roomieloverfriends” (Best WebSeries, 2013 ABFF) and “Hello Cupid” (BET).
