My first New Year Eve on ig with all of you....So I decided to share with you our Greek Lucky New Year's Eve Traditional Cake -"Vasilopita", with a lucky coin hidden within, which gives good luck to the receiver. It is associated with Saint Basil's day, 1st of January. They are many different kind of dough out there, that depends on regional and family tradition. In my family we use to do sweet moist dough, aromatic and infused with orange and vanilla.
