One of the famous winter weekend destination Madhupur is a city in Deoghar district of Jharkhand. It is considered a health resort because the water there is said to cure many stomach and digestion ailments.You can enjoy a short drive to Burai Pahar, Usri Falls, Trikut Pahar, Deoghar, Simultala and Giridih from Madhupur.Usri Falls picnic spot is a famous winter picnic place at Giridih, Jharkhand, India. The falls is only 12 km from Giridih railway station. One can visit Usri falls from Deoghar or Madhupur. The falls is situated at a distance of 80 km from Deoghar and 48 km from Madhupur. The Usri river is a tributary of the Barakar river. Here the Usri river drops from a height of 39 ft in three seperate streams. The falls is surrounded by dense forest.
After visiting Usri falls you can visit Khandoli Dam and Khandoli Park. Khandoli dam resides beside a conic shape hill. Khandoli dam (lake) is situated at a distance of 23 km from Usri falls and 10 km from Giridih. Khandoli has been developed as a tourist attraction. An amusement park is built near the lake. You can enjoy a boat ride at Khandoli too. Then you can enjoy sunset from Burai Pahar also .
