I filmed this video on a 2005 Land Rover Experience day at Weston Park, Staffordshire, UK. I was invited by Land Rover to experience the vehicle up close and even sit in the passenger seat then driven around the circuit by experienced rally drivers.

M-Sport built six Land Rover Freelander V6s to be used as recce vehicles for the World Rally Championship's Safari Rally. These Freelanders were driven by some of the biggest names in rallying; including Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz and Markko Martin.
"The M-Sport Freelanders were built to high specification, with FIA-compliant roll cages, adjustable WRC-specification Reiger suspension, and magnesium OZ wheels. The vehicle's underside was also protected with an aluminium sump guard, rear differential guard, and kevlar sill protectors.
After the Safari Rally, the M-Sport Freelanders were used for a variety of purposes, including as course opening and closing vehicles for the 2004 British Rally Championship. Today, these rare and iconic vehicles are highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts alike".
